The Ceremony
Your wedding day should be nothing short of magical, and that's exactly what you'll get when you choose The Barn at Homestead Park for your ceremony and reception.
From the stunning ceremony locations to the intimate and romantic barn reception space, every detail has been carefully crafted to create an unforgettable experience for you and your guests.
We offer two stunning locations for your ceremony, one of which is the front lawn located in front of our 1800s Homestead set amongst English gardens. The short walk down the tree lined driveway between the Homestead and The Barn allows for a clear distinction between your ceremony and reception.
We also offer a more rustic location for your ceremony: the lawn at The Barn. This area provides a natural setting with the barn as your backdrop surrounded by nearby olive grove and farmland. Our wedding venue offers the best of both worlds, with two unique locations that cater to different styles and preferences. Whether you choose the front lawn or the lawn at the Barn, both locations provide a beautiful setting that will create lasting memories for you and your guests.
In the event of wet weather, inside the Barn is the perfect location for your ceremony with its large, hand-made timber doors providing a backdrop.

The Reception
The Barn truly is the perfect location for a rustic and charming wedding reception.
With its intimate and romantic ambiance, guests will feel like they're in a fairytale. The fairy lights and greenery create a magical atmosphere that will transport you to another world. The open fireplace provides warmth and adds to the cozy ambiance, making it the perfect spot for unpredictable Melbourne weather.
The bar is fully equipped and ready to serve up your favorite cocktails and drinks. When you book The Barn, you're not just booking a venue; you're booking an entire experience. The adjoining Stables and outdoor Cattle Yards are perfect for those looking for an atmospheric touch. The festoon lighting adds to the charm and rustic feel of the venue. The commercial kitchen is complete with various cooking appliances and refrigeration, so your caterer will have everything they need to prepare your delicious wedding feast. With three bathrooms available, including one with disability access, your guests will have everything they need. With the Barn accommodating up to 150 guests, you'll have plenty of space to enjoy the celebration with your loved ones.
For those all-important romantic sunset photos, the owners can whisk you away in an airconditioned or heated Kubota with your photographer. Homestead Park is also pet-friendly, so you can bring your fur babies along to be part of the celebration, with horses stabled in The Stables if desired.

The Barn is a picturesque and versatile wedding venue that can be tailored to suit your unique style and vision.
With exclusive use of the property for 7 hours and flexible bump in and bump out times available, you have the freedom to decorate the venue to your liking and make it your own. Venue hire includes access to a range of features, including an eclectic mix of furniture, such as communal dining tables, walnut bentwood chairs, vintage sofas, wine barrels and stools, all of which are available for use during your event.
Whether you are wanting cocktail, formal sit down or maybe food trucks are your style, the venue offers a variety of approved catering options to suit any style. The Barn offers flexibility of bringing your own beverages, provided they are served by a licensed vendor. Wedding support services or complete packages are also available. In addition to its stunning features, The Barn also offers convenience with access to WIFI, NBN, and a sound system with Bluetooth connectivity. The venue takes care of rubbish removal. Additionally, the wedding party will have access to a quaint powder room located nearby the barn for the full duration of the event.
We were lucky to be a part of a perfect wedding at Barn Events. Kaye and Seamus went above and beyond to make everything so seamless, effortless and AMAZING!!!
The property is so beautiful and you can tell the love the owners have for it by how beautifully it is kept and maintained and the passion the owners have for ensuring the bride and groom’s day is a memorable one.
The Barn has so much character and every nook and cranny has something else to admire.
The animals play a part in the spectacular surroundings and you cannot help falling in love with the venue, as did all of the guests !!

Where do we even begin.
The moment you enter Barn Events you are blown away by the immaculate venue itself but then you are greeted by Kaye and Seamus and you are filled to the brim with warmth.
They truly love weddings, and being a part of your day. Any queries I had were always answered promptly.
They really have built something special out there in Nar Nar Goon. All our guests continually complemented the venue and all the Vendors they had suggested for us to use.
They go out of their way to make each wedding unique and truly individual to the couple.
On the day itself Kaye and Seamus were such a great help constantly present to help out all the vendors and make sure our day was running smoothly.
They were so accomodating, even managing to clear paddocks for us to land a helicopter.
We will always remember our spectacular day as truly the happiest day we could wish for, and a lot of that was thanks to Barn Events

Barn Events was everything we could’ve hoped for and more. From welcoming us with open arms and allowing us to include our fur baby, Luna, to hosting our amazing wedding on the 26th of Feb.
We fell in love with the venue the minute we walked in and was everything we dreamed for. We were able to bring in our favourite food of burgers and have a relaxed but fun reception where everyone was
able to let their hair down and have fun in a open and comforting space. Everyone commented on how nice and cute the venue was and with the ability to get other vendors in was able to be even more of a reflection of us.
Kaye and Seamus take great care of the property and have put so much love and work into the space it oozes it back out.
We are so lucky to have found this gorgeous venue and to have had our most amazing and memorable day here xx
